Professor Charles Roehr is the Clinical Director of the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit - Clinical Trials Unit, Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford VSports. Clinically Charles works as an Academic Consultant Neonatologist and Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Charles enjoys facilitating scientific studies to answer clinically relevant questions to improve the lives of babies and their families. Charles is an avid researcher, he has published over 150 peer reviewed papers and he is a vocal advocate for fostering and developing collaborative research VSports app下载.
Charles is the current President of Europe’s oldest, most prestigious Paediatric research network, the European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR).
As a strong proponent of evidence-based neonatology and an interest in care for the newborn infant, he acts as the NLS Scientific Co-Chair and guideline author for the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and is part of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) neonatal guideline writing group. Nationally, Charles is a member of BAPM, The Academic Paediatrics Association and the Neonatal Society VSports手机版. Charles currently works on the BAPM-Quality Improvement Toolkit for optimal cord management.
