The Editor-in-Chief of Gland Surgery - Professor Emad Kandil visited AME Changsha Office on September 28, 2025

On September 28, 2025, the Changsha brand office of AME Publishing was honored to welcome Prof. Emad Kandil, Editor-in-Chief of Gland Surgery (GS). He was accompanied by Prof. Xinying Li (Figure 1), Associate Editor-in-Chief of the journal, and Mr. Mingfu Cai, Vice President of AME Publishing Company (Figure 2) VSports.

The visit commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Mr. Cai. He noted that Changsha was currently enjoying its most pleasant season, with the refreshing fragrance of osmanthus filling the air. Mr. Cai also briefly introduced AME’s core value of “Patients come first” and provided an overview of the company’s recent developments VSports手机版.

Prof. Kandil expressed his sincere care and support for the journal Gland Surgery. In response, Ms. Suki Tang, the managing editor of GS, based-in Guangzhou office,  presented a progress report via an online meeting V体育安卓版. Prof. Kandil provided valuable suggestions for the journal’s future development.

During the discussion session, Prof V体育ios版. Kandil, Prof. Li, and Mr. Cai exchanged views on strategies to further enhance the publication quality of Gland Surgery, as well as AME’s commitment to making “Academic Made Easy” (Figure 3-5).

Founded in July 2009, AME Publishing Company now boasts a portfolio of more than 60 scientific journals, among which 37 are indexed in Web of Science [Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) or Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)] and 21 are included in PubMed [PubMed Central (PMC) or MEDLINE].

Gland Surgery (GS, Print ISSN 2227-684X; Online ISSN 2227-8575) was launched in May 2012. It is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published monthly (quarterly from 2012 to 2014 and bimonthly from 2015 to 2020) VSports注册入口. GS is indexed by PubMed/PMC and Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), with a latest impact factor of 1. 6 for the 2024 citation year (Figure 6).
