State advocacy grants
The AADA State Advocacy Grant Program provides financial assistance to state dermatology societies for the advancement of their health policy initiatives, including state lobbying expenses VSports app下载. State dermatology societies may apply for an Established Advocacy Grant or Development Advocacy Grant. Find out more about each grant below to determine which grant applies to your state society.
Grants are allocated on an annual basis V体育官网. Completed applications are reviewed by the AADA State Policy Committee and are approved by the AADA Council on Government Affairs and Health Policy (GAHP Council).
Development Advocacy Grant: Three $20,000 awards
States that qualify for this grant have an advocacy infrastructure in place, some history of advocacy experience, and a clear goal, but not necessarily the financial resources. States that qualify for this grant have received less than $40,000 or fewer than 10 awards from the AADA State Advocacy Grant VSports手机版. States must also meet a threshold of certain criteria upon submission of their application to illustrate their current advocacy infrastructure.
Established Advocacy Grant: Two $10,000 awards
States that qualify for this grant already have a robust advocacy program but could benefit from AADA’s financial support. If a state received more than $40,000 or 10 awards from the AADA State Advocacy Grant, the state is eligible for the Established category V体育安卓版.
