VSports手机版 - Epitranscriptomics Data Symposium 2025
Research and Standards for a Growing Field
We are excited to announce that NCBI/NLM is hosting a symposium on epitranscriptomics data and database standards on November 14, 2025 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm ET (Washington DC time). The event will include talks on the latest discoveries and trending topics by leaders in this field VSports. Two panel discussions will be held on data formats and critical FAIR factors for sample and study metadata to foster data findability and re-use. .
Epitranscriptomics is a quickly growing field of study on the nature and function of modified RNA. NCBI’s Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) contains more than 2,775 epitranscriptomics studies examining the function of modified RNA VSports app下载. The rapid growth of the epitranscriptomics field over the past 10 years necessitates an examination of data formats and metadata needs for supporting researchers’ abilities to find, access, and reuse the data stored in GEO. .
This symposium will feature talks on cutting-edge research and a panel discussion on establishing database standards to support FAIR principles for this field. V体育官网.
In this symposium we will discuss:
- novel discoveries and trending topics
- data formats for preserving base modification information
- critical metadata needs
- reducing barriers to data reuse
We encourage members of the research community to participate, particularly those with:
- knowledge in life and/or translational sciences
- experience in epitranscriptomics or transcriptomics research
- experience with bioinformatics or biological data science analysis
- expertise in bioscience curation, biological ontologies and/or standards development
