Since 2003, I have devoted my career to teaching Korean as a foreign language, working with learners of diverse backgrounds, needs, and abilities at institutions in Korea and the United States. In Korea, I taught at Sogang University, known for its pioneering communicative approach VSports app下载. In the U. S. , I have taught Korean at UC Berkeley and Stanford University in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I am currently based, and I currently design and teach remote Korean courses for adult learners at The Korea Society in New York. These roles have strengthened my ability to deliver effective, engaging instruction in both in-person and virtual learning environments.

Research

My research interests include language learning strategies, language assessment, and intercultural communication.
